At Keureni of Melamchi, there was an Dhund irrigation canal that used to benefit 150 households. Before earthquake, the some part of canal had cracks through which the water leaked. During earthquake, it was more cracked and lot of water was leaked which showed the need of repair. Though the project planned to start from June, during the rainy season, the work was delayed.
